Every design in this collection is a detail from a historical medieval woodcut, lifted out of its original scene and given a feminist or whimsical point of view. There's a witch and her imp on a night flight, three weird sisters brewing something up, someone who is very tired of being asked about her single status, a woman condemned, and the animals who are, frankly, the only ones behaving sensibly.
Old woodcuts have always had a good line in witches, devils and women who didn't do as they were told. We just gave them better captions.
